 Bringing Home Baby is a program designed for expecting families who's dogs may have trouble coping or understanding the new addition. Featured here, German Shepherd Jerry Lee sits calmly with 9 mo old Addie. The process of preparing Jerry started prior to Addie's birth. Jerry began as an older dog with little interest in small children, although he got along fine with children older than 10. Before Jerry passed in Aug. 2010, the family was able to command Jerry to "watch the baby" and he did, either next to the stroller on the porch or in the front yard while playing. This is proof that we can bring a new baby into a canine home and through diligence and commitment enjoy all aspects of the family transformation.  One of our greatest accomplishments are through teaching parents and children how to live in harmony with their canine family members. Featured above Rogue, a home protection trained German Shepherd, who through training and parental supervision, has also become pet to 1 1/2 yr old Alex, and 3 yr old Kyra (featured left). As a matter of fact, Kyra often commands Rogue, and Rogue listens. Please consider us before a shelter or option of giving up your dog for children and family reasons. We can help!
